Following his defeat by WONG FEI-HUNG (John Chiang) in a duel, Guangzhou's number one kung-fu master LUI KONG (Lam Kar Wah) is diagnosed with leprosy and he runs off in secret.

Blaming HUNG, LUI CHING-LUNG (Bosco Wong) who knows nothing about martial arts, is resolved to seek revenge for his father. Surprisingly, HUNG offers to teach LUNG the renowned LUI's kung fu stances, and urges him to come back for revenge when he has picked up all the martial arts techniques. LUNG is deeply touched by HUNG's generosity, which also marks the beginning of a complicated relationship.

HUNG meets MOK KWAI-LAN (Liu Xuan) and her sworn brother YAU SAM-SHUI (Ma Kwok Ming) in a restaurant, who has always wanted to be his apprentices. Despite their father's opposition, HUNG decides to teach them kung-fu, and is particularly amazed by LAN's sparkling talent. They gradually fall in love.

On the other hand, SHUI hopes to win the heart of his dream girl KWAI FA (Fala Chen) with his kung fu skills, though FA is actually in love with LUNG.

KONG emerges in Guangzhou all of a sudden, this time a tool of TONG YUET-HANG (Yueh Hua), Chief Commissioner of the Western District in his conspiracy against HUNG. Po Chi Lam's reputation soon becomes tarnished.

Synopsis

The drama tells the story of Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), an arrogant and eccentric CEO who maintains the image of seeming perfection, and Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won), a poor and humble stuntwoman whose beauty and body are the object of envy amongst top actresses. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for actress Park Chae Rin, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. My Review :

Beautiful Rayne played by Kristanna Loken (from Terminator 3) is a half vampire half human. Sworned to kill vampires as a revenge to the vamp king who raped and killed her mother. Started off from a circus and learned swordplay by humans. So she goes chopping. The best part is Rayne's sex scene where her lovely tits showed full and sucked but a human. This is her only nude scene. Don't miss it.

My Review>:

The emperor was hurt in battle and killed by one of the rebel generals. The the princess (Kelly Chen) takes the throne, the general broke into two teams, one led by the murderer and the other lead by the princess's childhood friend (Donny Yuen). This movie is a mixture of war battles, romance (yup, Kelly and Leon Lai) and internal vendetta. Good fighting scenes and good sex scenes too. If you want only fights, see The Warlords.

My Rating>:>8.0 out of 10. A Must see.

One at a time, the inhabitants of the town become targets of the Aliens and the Predator, including the local sheriff, a young female soldier recently returned from Iraq, and several teens.

My Review>:>

Good sequel from AVP (2004). Continuation where the alien breaks out from the predator's stomach and best of all NEW BREED !! Imagine Predator head with a smaller mouth in it. Stronger, but slower (Predator feet) and lays eggs directly to humans mouth. No more spider thingy. So in few hours time town overrun with aliens. What baffles me is why the heck only one Predator to try to clean up the mess. More the better. Great stuff and lighting is good even in the dark areas.

My Rating>:>8.5 out of 10.

My Review :

Yup. A remake of the Hong Kong movie "The Eye". But for those who has seen the Chinese version, you'll be in for quite a few surprises. Believe, i'm a great fan of ghost movies and yet i had few frights from this movie. For those who had not seen the Chinese version, prepare for some screaming and shocking moments. Very different from other horror movies, The Eye has a special way to frighten people. A definite MUST HAVE for horror lovers.

My Rating : 9 out of 10 (Frightens me too :-P)

My Review :

For those who seen Bourne movies, this is almost the same, only Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) is trained to be an assassin since a child. Captured, tattooed and train to be the perfect killer and some others. Letheal with his gun and sword, missioned to kill the Russian president to be but found out that he has a double and betrayed by the company itself. Great martial movement and deadly kills and a beautiful partner (Olga Kurylenko, long nude scenes). Yeah !!

My Review :

One word - gory. Lots of action and blood. Sylvester did not fail us. His usual cool tough attitude and again with his bow and arrow. I have to remind you again that this movie is indeed very gory where people blown to pieces, sniper shoots up a guys head, M60 cutting down people like trees. There is a scene where a 5 year old kid get bayoneted by the Burmise soldier.

Ballroom dancing emphasizes rhythm and mutual trust between the partners. If we can apply the same philosophy to our daily communication practices, we are likely to find ourselves in greater harmony and our lives will surely be enriched.

Dance lover Lee Sum Ying (Bernice Liu) is going to audition for a place in the Hong Kong Dance Company. Before the audition starts, she bumps into her brother Lee Lik Keung (Wayne Lai) and his colleague Ching Ka Tsun (Steven Ma) at a supermarket, where she is accidentally run over by Tsun’s trolley and hurts herself. Due to her leg injury, Ying does not perform well in the audition and fails the assessment. At the invitation of Tsun’s mother, Ying goes to teach Latin dance at a local community center, in the hope that she can save up enough money for further studies abroad.

Ying has a very warm personality and is well-liked by many of her students. Her popularity eventually lands her a teaching job at a dance workshop, which makes another dance tutor, Ching Ka Man (Fala Chen), incredibly jealous. Man dislikes Ying so much that she means to make things difficult for her in every possible way.

Yeung Sze Man (Kate Tsui), the daughter of Tsun’s boss, is appointed to take charge of the company. In order to improve staff morale, Man has announced a series of reforms. She needs her staff to learn dancing so that they can get more physical exercise. Ying is hired as the dance teacher of Tsun and his colleagues. Tsun, who has some knowledge in dancing, has soon resumed his interest in this expressive form of art. Ying and Tsun have gradually developed a close bond with each other and even decided to take part in an international dance competition as partners, but the pair’s relationship is put to the test when Tsun and Keung later fall out over business matters. The discord between the two men has put Ying in dilemma…

Ching has focused too much on his daughter that he has completely disregarded his responsibility as a son and a husband. At the darkest moment in his life, Ching is lucky to still have Tsz and his soul mate Law Sz-Hei (Tavia Yeung) by his side. In the meantime, Ching happens to discover a secret that his father has been hiding all these years...

Lucy Liu, yummy. Few nude shots of her. Fancy her eating a guy ? Well, she was raped by a vampire and then eaten later. So she becomes a vampire. But problem is she hates vampires so much, she'll rather kill them and them kill herself. The scenes are good gory and bloody. I give a thumbs up to this.

My Review :

Something different from the rest of the species. Well, it looks like a sequel from Species 3. A very loving uncle/father to beautiful blonde Miranda has to find his old friend to help "solve" the problem. It seems that Miranda is a "project" created by both of them using alien DNA and human DNA mixture. Now she became unstable and raargh, roar and more raargh. You get it. Good movie and better than the previous chapters that always mate, mate and mate. This movie has more meaning and less nudetiny.

His identity is a secret receiving extensive training on all fights and weaponary, where he meet a boy same age as him. He treat this boy as his dearest brother. At then end, he leads his troops to defeat the Chinese thus became Ablai Khan, greatgrandson of Genghis Khan. The cost of Khan ? his brother. Very good movie and worth the time to see it even though its non English. The English subs are good as well.

Synopsis :

Tony and Mark Chung are two effective police officers employed in the Criminal Intelligence Bureau. Contrary to their respectable public images, the two brothers actually cope with broken childhoods caused by their father Albert’s desertion more than twenty years ago. The film is set in the Warring States Period of China. The state of Zhao invades the city-state of Liang. Ge Li (Andy Lau), a Mohist, comes to Liang to help protect the city. He warns of the dangers of surrendering to an invading Zhao army that intends to conquer Liang. The king of Liang worries about Ge Li inciting war amongst the public, but decides to allow him to temporarily aid in defending Liang.
Ge Li's creates a bulwark and various traps to slow down the invading army. The Prince and Generals of Liang question his leadership and skills as a tactician, but time after time, his tactics were right. The Prince of Liang eventually developes a high level of respect for Ge Li's wisdom and experience. After Ge Li successfully defends the kingdom from superior numbers, he becomes highly revered by the local populace.
Feeling threatened by Ge Li's popularity, the king of Liang plots to have him be deposed of rank and executed on false charges. Ge Li returns from a scouting mission and is charged with starting a war under false pretenses. The Prince of Liang fakes a fight against Ge Li so that he can use himself as a hostage to help free Ge Li. The improved arrows that Ge Li used to help defend Liang were then ironically used against him. The Prince of Liang is killed in the incident. Ge Li's sympathizers are falsely accused of being part of a rebellion against Liang, and they are tortured and executed.
The King of Liang foolishly believes the Zhao army has already left, but the Zhao army raids the city in a surprise attack. Ge Li returns with a surviving group of the Liang army to restore power to the people of Liang. After the conflict, Ge Li leaves with some orphans of Liang to promote peace among kingdoms. The King of Liang would be killed five years later, and eventually the Qin army would unite China and became the first dynasty, the Qin Dynasty.

My Review :

Good War movie. I always like ancient China wars. Ge Li's defensive ways reminds me of Zhuge Liang's tactics. See how 10,000 troops defeated by a mere 1,000 troops in a small city.

Mr. Bean enters a church raffle and wins a vacation trip to France as well as a camcorder. After boarding a Eurostar train and arriving in Paris, the French language proves a barrier for Bean, as he struggles to get across the city to catch a train to the south of France from the Gare de Lyon. Taking time to order a meal, he finds the consumption of a seafood platter to be a challenge. Just before catching his train, he asks Emil, a Russian film director on his way to be a judge at the Cannes Film festival to use his camcorder to record his boarding, but accidentally causes Emil being left behind at the station. Bean attempts to cheer up the director's son Stepan as the train continues south but matters are made more hectic by the fact that Emil has reported his son to have been kidnapped and Bean losing his wallet and essential travel documents at a pay phone where he and Stepan attempt to contact Emil. Heading in the direction of Cannes, Bean finds himself in the cast and disrupting the flow of a commercial being shot by the egotistical director Carson Clay. He and Stepan finally hitch a ride with the young and vivacious actress Sabine who is heading to Cannes to attend the premiere of Clay's film, in which she appears. After Bean sneaks into the showing, his camcorder images are destined to enliven the proceedings

My Review :

Well, looking at him is enough to make me laugh. Skinflint Bean wins a camcorder in a raffle. To make matters worse he won a holiday to France too and no idea what the French people are saying. This is where the fun starts. I'm not gonna spoil it for you. This is slightly better that "The Ultimate Disaster".

My Rating : 7.5 out of 10. Good for a laugh.

Yet, obviously, this is a rather tough dream for a rat. But opportunity knocks when a young boy, who desperately needs to keep his job at the restaurant, despite his lack of cooking abilities, discovers and partners the young Remy. Its up to the two of them to avoid the insane head chef, bring the rest of Remy's family up to his standards, win his partner a girl, and, of course, produce the finest Ratatouille in all of France

My Review :

How about a rat that can smell ingredients. Yup. You smell cake, he smells butter, cinnamon and flour. Best of all, he tells you that its lack of some stuff that can make it better. Wow. Its more thrill than comedy. Remy teaches some kid on how to cook. Nice movie to watch.

Synopsis : Shia LaBeouf (Disturbia) provides the voice of Cody Maverick, a young penguin who dreams of winning the biggest penguin surfing competition of the year. His pursuit of this goal is the chosen subject of documentary makers who interview, him, his friends and surfing fans along the way. This is kinda cool, but also a disturbing celebration of our media/fame-obsessed culture, but what the hell, its just a kids movie. Anyway, in his travels, he hooks up with a surfing chicken (voice by Jon Heder), is smitten by a beautiful, penguin lifeguard (Zooey Deschanel) and finds both an enemy (Bader) and a mentor (Bridges, who is great, sorta reprising his Dude character) and passes on the message that we should do what we love, because we love it, not because we want to win at it.

My Review : A young penguin surfer gets invited to join a surfing competition and met a Chicken !?! as a friend. The chicken is real funny. He got knocked out in one of the challenges and meet his surfing hero, now a fat, lazy penguin who only likes clam. Until he saw that Cody (hero) will do anything to find his "Z" pendant, he began to train Cody slowly. Heh. Thats where the fun starts. Don't bother about the pretty girl penguin. There is no romance and the narration in the movie is bugging me. Overall a cool movie.
My Rating : 7 out of 10.

My Review :

Another great Bourne chapter and should be the final. This time he gets to the place he started and finds out why he keeps killing people and for who and for what. Good action from start to end. As usual always one step above others and great display of martial arts. The biggest crook now is ... nah, you see it. I'm not gonna spoil it for you.

My Rating : 8.5 out of 10. A Must see.
